Unlike Greek, where there are only two levels of scriptural understanding (literal or spiritual), Hebrew offers four levels of scriptural understanding. The four levels are know as:
Pshat - Literal (The text is read as literal events, names, etc)
Remez - Hint (There is a hint of a deeper meaning implied)
Drash - Search (The text is searched out)
Sod - Hidden (The hidden meaning is revealed)
In Hebrew culture, the only qualified persons to preach at the 'sod' level are Rabbi's, who have to be minimally 30 years old. This would explain why Yeshua (Jesus) started his ministry at 30, and why He was called Rabbi, and why He only taught in parables (which is the way 'sod' level teaching is conveyed i.e. parabolic language to depict a deeper meaning).
We at TheREV2.0 teach at the 'sod' level to reveal the deeper truths of scripture. We utilize the ancient paleo-Hebrew aleph-beyt to convey the powerful hidden truths of scripture. Yeshua said "Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given." (Matt 13:11)
The kingdom of heaven is therefore enshrouded in mysteries. The mysteries are revealed at the sod level, as we dig deeper into the scriptures.
The name TheREV2.0 is derived from the second manifestation of revelation that will bring about the appearing of Yeshua (Jesus).
We pray you consider journeying with us as we pursue the revelation of Yeshua.
